PROJECT: "Beautification of Mayor Hanif Flyover"
The project aims to address the challenges of traffic congestion, illegal structures, and underutilization of spaces in and around the Mayor Hanif Flyover. Its scope involves beautification efforts, creation of user-friendly public spaces, and ensuring a clean and safe environment across nine defined segments of the project area.
Why Change Matters? The Vision for a Vibrant Dhaka
The initiative is driven by the necessity to alleviate the daily sufferings of city dwellers due to road damage, unauthorized parking, and the illegal occupation of space, which result in significant traffic congestion and underutilized areas. The project is a response to the urgent need for a sustainable and organized urban environment that can enhance the quality of life for residents and commuters in the Dhaka South City Corporation Area.
Greening the Grey: How the City Mayor's Dream Unfolds
The implementation plan is structured in phases, starting with rapid mobilization, surveying the existing situation, developing preliminary design solutions, and finalizing a detailed landscape plan.
It includes stakeholder consultations, detailed design phases, and supervision of the implementation process. Site visits are crucial for understanding the local context and ensuring the designs are practical and sustainable.
The Honorable Mayor's guidance during his site visit emphasizes ward-based planning, green development, and provisions for emergency vehicle movement, highlighting the project's focus on sustainability and community needs.

In the past ten years, my architectural odyssey has evolved from academic achievements, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's, to professional accomplishments across interior design, landscape projects, and building architecture.
